Amy Matthews

Amy is an irrepressible book lover, embracing all genres as both a reader, an academic and a writer. As an author she writes fiction about love and family and she also writes under the name Amy Barry. Amy is a podcaster, hosting the AMY & BOOK CLUB, as well as the still widely available podcasts QBD Romance Book Club, Love on Campus and Word Docs. As an Associate Professor in Creative Writing at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, Amy researches and teaches in the field of genre fictions, particularly popular romance, historical fiction and fictions of climate change. Amy works with a large cohort of postgraduate students and you can find out more about her academic work here.
