Amy Matthews

Amy is an irrepressible book lover, embracing all genres as both a reader, an academic and a writer. As an author she writes general fiction about love and family and she writes romance under the name Amy Barry. Amy is also a podcaster, hosting Amy &, as well as the still widely available podcasts Love on Campus and Word Docs. As an Associate Professor in Creative Writing at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, Amy researches and teaches in the field of genre fictions, particularly popular romance, historical fiction and fictions of climate change. Amy works with a large cohort of postgraduate students and you can find out more about her academic work here.
